PeekYou is a people search site that aggregates information from across the web to show a complete user profile of whoever you search. This can include images, social media accounts, and arrest records.
Step 1: Head to peekyou.com and search for yourself.
Step 2: Find your record and click on your name. There may be multiple people with your name, so try to confirm that the record is yours. Also, because PeekYou aggregates information, they also show records from other people search websites, such as BeenVerified. You want to opt out of PeekYou, so make sure the record you click on has a "PeekYou score" to the right of it. For example, in the picture below both records have a PeekYou score of 3.
Step 3: On your record, click the "Opt Out" text that just be around the top right of the record.
Step 4: Finish filling out PeekYou's opt out form, which should autofill some information for you. Make sure you use an email you have access to, as you will need to confirm your PeekYou opt out request via email.
Step 5: Confirm you are not a robot and check the boxes, then hit "Submit".
Step 6: Go to your inbox and find the email from peekyou.com. Click on the confirmation link they give you.
You should be sent to a confirmation page informing you that your PeekYou opt out is now complete.
Opting out of PeekYou should take 5-15 minutes for most people.
It should take around 2-4 business days for their opt out team to delete your information from PeekYou.
PeekYou might still show some of your information, because they also show search results for websites like BeenVerified. This is common for people search sites, so you would need to opt out of every website to ensure your information isn't visible on these websites.
